Mix-n-Stain™ CF488A Antibody Labeling Kit is a green fluorescent dye optimally excited by the 488 nm argon laser line. Antibody conjugates with CF™488A are biologically more specific than competing fluorescent labeling dyes. CF™488A is minimally charged, ensuring a higher signal-to-noise ratio. Additionally, CF™488A has a slightly shorter peak emission wavelength (515 nm) than traditional green dyes such as FITC or FAM, with less fluorescent spill-over into the red channel of multi-color detection applications.
