Bosnalijek, Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry, Joint Stock Company, has been established in 1951. It is the biggest industrial producer of medicines in B&H with a rich production programme that includes generic medicines for usage in human medicine and disinfectants. Pharmaceutical programme includes around 200 different products for peroral, parenteral, and topical administration with effect on intestinal system and metabolism, cardiovascular system, systemic infections, skin, musculo-skeletal system, nervous and respiratory system.
