| Description | Iron Assay Kit is an Assay Kit by Ferrous Oxazine Colorimetric Method.This product is used to determine iron content in human serum.Under acidic conditions, serum iron is freed from its binding protein transferrin, simultaneously the ferric iron (Fe3+) is reduced to ferrous ion (Fe2+). Then ferrous ion react with ferrozine to form purple compound.
