| Description | ACAD8 is a member of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family of enzymes that catalyze the dehydrogenation of acyl-CoA derivatives in the metabolism of fatty acids or branch chained amino acids. This protein is a mitochondrial enzyme that functions in catabolism of the branched-chain amino acid valine. This ACAD8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 118-145 amino acids from the Central region of human ACAD8. |
