| Description | E2F1 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against E2F1. DNA tumor viruses appear to have transforming activity due to their binding and inactivating to the RB1 gene products, and transcription facotr E2F, which is first identified as a DNA-binding protein essential for E1A-dependent activation of the advenovirus E2 promoter. The complex DRTF1/E2F involves in the control of cell-cycle progression from G1 to S phase. E2F1, one of E2F preferentially binds to RB1 protein in a cell-cycle dependent manner. It mediates both cell proliferation and p53-dependent apoptosis. |
