Sigma’s DirectLoad^™ Wide Range DNA Marker is provided in a gel-loading solution of 2.5% Ficoll (Type 400), 0.0125% bromophenol blue, and 0.00625% xylene cyanol.

General description

Sigma’s DirectLoad Wide Range DNA Marker contains 16 fragments from 50 – 10,000 bp, with bands regularly spaced. Ten ul of the ladder can be loaded directly in a single lane on an agarose or polyacrylamide gel.

Other Notes

Contains 16 fragments, 50–10,000 bp which produce logically spaced bands on an agarose gel.

For optimal resolution, the recommended agarose gel concentration is 0.75 – 2.0%.
