Description: anti-survivin Mouse Monoclonal Antibody |
Background: Survivin is a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) family. The survivin protein negatively regulate of programmed cell death by inhibiting caspase. Survivin protein is high expressed in most human tumours and fetal tissue, but is absent in differentiated cells. This makes survivin an ideal target for cancer therapy. Survivin is only expressed in the G2-M phase cells. It also plays a role in regulating mitosis. |
