Specificity |  | The Signet anti-Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) I and II antibody reacts with HSV infected tissues and tissue culture preparations. The HSV I and II antibody has been found to crossreact with the varicella zoster virus.
This antibody was developed using rabbit-cornea cells (continuous cell line) infected with HSV Type 1 (detergent solubilized, strain Mac Intyre).
