Specificity		Cre-recombinase is a 38kD DNA recombinase derived from the P1 bacteriophage. It is highly specific for a 34 bp DNA sequence (loxP) found in P1 DNA. This polyclonal antibody was raised against purified full-length cre-recombinase and can be used to determine the success of gene manipulations in transgenic animals.
Uses		This antibody is effective in immunoblotting.
Suggested Working Dilution		The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Storage		Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. For long-term storage, keep the antibody at -80°C.
