| Specificity | | Tau 13 is a mouse monoclonal antibody (MAb) that binds to human tau and is able to stain brain tissue early in Alzheimer’s disease. Tau 13 is specific for human tau; it does not react with bovine, murine or rat tau. Preliminary assignment of its epitope indicates that it maps to amino acid residues 2-18 on the longest isoform of human tau. |
| Uses | | These antibodies are effective in immunoblotting, immunostaining, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. |
| Suggested Working Dilution | | The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.
