Claudin-11, also known as CLDN11, belongs to the group of claudins. Claudins are integral membrane proteins and components of tight junction strands. As a physical barrier, tight junction strands can prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space between epithelial or endothelial cell sheets. Claudin-11 plays a major role in tight junction-specific obliteration of the intercellular space, through calcium-independent cell-adhesion activity. A dysfunction of CLDN11 gene may cause human blood-testis barrier disruption. CLDN11 plays an important role in regulating proliferation and migration of oligodendrocytes.

nt-size: 12px; width: 688px; border: 1px solid rgb(240, 240, 240); height: auto;">Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8oC for one month. Aliquot and store at -80oC for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the target protein. The loss rate was determined by  ¾Û¼¯µ°°×¾ÛÌÇ(AGC)ÖØ×éµ°°×accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37oC for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
