Mifepristone(米非司***)是一种强有效的孕***和糖皮质***受体拮抗剂,其IC50分别为0.2nM and 2.6nM [1]Mifepristone可阻止DNA合成,使细胞周期停滞在G1-S期,并以剂量依赖的方式抑制体内外人上皮性卵巢癌细胞和脑膜瘤细胞生长[2]Mifepristone还可以抑制正常的及恶性的子宫内膜细胞、前列腺癌细胞[3]和胃癌细胞[4]增殖。另外,mifepristone显著提高阿尔茨海默(Alzheimer’s disease (AD))病人的皮质醇水平[5]。最近一项研究表明,mifepristone可诱导无论分化或未分化的表达caspase-1的胚胎干细胞的caspase-1的表达[6]
