(S)-(-)-Blebbistatin, 从(±)-Blebbistatin中纯化的S型异构体, (±)-Blebbistatin是一种细胞通透性的小分子抑制剂，对myosin II具有高亲和性和选择性[1]，强效抑制非肌肉myosin IIA和IIB，IC50值为0.5-5 μM [2]，还可以强效抑制哺乳动物动脉平滑肌(IC50=5 μM)和细胞质膜气泡的形成。Blebbistatin抑制肌动蛋白活化的Mg-ATPase活性，并抑制cytokinetic环的收缩。488 nm波长可以快速失活blebbistatin的抑制作用[3]。Blebbistatin在体外有效缓和膀胱收缩，并显著改变体内的尿动力学参数，降低膀胱过度活动症[4]。
