C-erbB-2 oncoprotein falls within the family of cell surface growth factor receptors. It is present on a number of normal fetal and adult tissues such as breast, stomach and ovary. It has also been documented as being present in a percentage of breast and other adenocarc inomas and transitional cell carcinomas. This antibody will help determine the presence of c-erbB-2 in uncharacterized tissues.
