Based on the success of Agilent′s Nanoflow Proteomics Solution, a highly integrated approach to the indentification and characterization of proteolytically digested protein, Agilent has expanded the product range for proteomics and launched a new product for the proteomics market - the Agilent 1100 Series Nanoflow LC System for MS. Now customers have the possibility to connect a reliable nanoflow LC system to their existing mass spectrometer and can expand this system according to their needs.
The Agilent 1100 Series nanoflow LC system for MS includes the following modules:
- Agilent 1100 Series nanoflow pump with EFC (Electronic Flow Control) which offers reliable and reproducible results, combined with high instrument uptime.
- Agilent 1100 Series micro vacuum degasser, which has a very low internal volume per channel (1 ml) for fast changeover of mobile phases and quick purge.
- Agilent 1100 Series micro well-plate sampler, which enables the user to handle nano to microliter injection volumes and offers the flexibility to inject from various sample containers (e.g. vials and well-plates)
- Agilent 1100 Series handheld controller for convenient local status monitoring
Additional 1100 Series modules and accessories enhance the system′s flexibility and performance. These include a thermostat for WPS/ALS, to prevent thermolabile samples from damage. Also available is the thermostatted column compartment with micro columns switching option and a choice of four different pumpng systems for performing 2D LC applicaitons to analyze complex protein samples. To achieve the highest sensitivity the nanflow compatible Agilent 1100 Series LC/MSD Trap SL and dedicated software is offered.
