MonoBeads™ Columns
Technical Information
MonoBeads™ are prepacked in Tricorn™, HR, and PC column formats. The three Tricorn™ (5/50 GL, 10/100 GL, and 4.6/100 PE) columns offer high-resolution separations with greater loading capacity but slightly lower resolution than MiniBeads™ columns (see page 511).
Tricorn™ columns are ideal for the polishing step when high purity is required. HR 16/10 columns, on the other hand, have higher loading capacity than Tricorn™ columns. PC 1.6/5 columns are ideal for micropurification of subnanogram to microgram amounts of sample on ÄKTA Systems or other high-performance LC systems.

Tricorn high-performance columns are prepacked with MonoBeads ion exchange media for high-resolution purification and high capacity.
The polishing step on Mono Q 5/50 GL shows different phosphoforms of the purified kinase and very high purity.
