Size: 0.1 mg (determined by absorbance of A280 and the correlation coefficient against BSA is 0.704).
Antigen: Recombinant human adiponectin produced in HEK293 (Human embryonic kidney cell line). The recombinant human adiponectin is 100% homologous with the human serum adiponectin.
Host: Rabbit
Titer: Is defined by indirect ELISA, it is >1:100,000 for antibody concentration 1mg/ml, 2.5 ng of antigen are coated per well, and is then defined at a point of maximal decrease of the titration curve.
Purification Method: Immunoaffinity chromatography on a column with immobilized human recombinant adiponectin.
Formulation: Sterile filtered and lyophilized from 1 mg/ml in 0.1 M phosphate buffer, 0.1 M NaCl, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Add 0.1 ml of deionized water and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Slight turbidity may occur after reconstitution, which does not affect activity of the antibody. In this case clarify the solution by centrifugation.
Storage: Store lyophilized antibody at 2-8°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles and store frozen at -80°C. Reconstituted antibody can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show decline in activity after two weeks at 4°C.
Stability/Shelf Life: The lyophilized antibody remains stable and fully active until the expiry date when stored at 4°C.
Applications: ELISA, Western blotting.
