Application

Use biotin-16-UTP to add a nonradioactive label to RNA during in vitro transcription, so the RNA can easily and safely be detected (e.g., with a fluorescein-conjugated or enzyme-conjugated streptavidin). Biotin-16-UTP can replace UTP as a substrate for the following enzymes:
