| Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Ihh. The protein is a member of the hedgehog family of signaling molecules that play diverse roles in patterning early embryonic events. IHH induces the expression of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHRP), regulates the balance between growth and ossification of the developing bones. Defects in IHH are the cause of brachydactyly type A1 (BDA1). |
