It catalyzes its autophosphorylation on serine/threonine and tyrosine residues. It may play a significant role in a signaling pathway regulating cell proliferation and may be involved in brain development. Recombinant human DYRK1A protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli . |
