Total Hb and HbA1C in the s amples have the same chance to be immobilized by nonspecific adsorption with l atex particles. The latex - HbA1C - mouse anti - human HbA1C monoclonal antibody complex formed when addition of HbA1C specific monoclonal an tibody. The complexes occurs agglutination at the presence of goat anti - mouse IgG antibody. The agglutination amount is proportional to the amount of HbA1C bound in the i nitial step.
