It is a inhibitor of angiogenesis and inhibitor of endothelial cell chemotaxis (in vitro). Binding to heparin is much weaker than in the close homolog PF4/CXCL4. Recombinant human PF4V1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
