| Applications | Western Blot, Peptide ELISA. WB: Approx. 50 kDa band observed in fetal mouse brain lysates and 35 kDa band plus fainter 50 kDa band bands in adult mouse brain lysates (calculated MW of 52.9 kDa band according to NP_061280.2). The observed 35 kDa band corresponds to the calculated MW of human isoform 2 (35.2 kDa band according to NP_001138597.1), but this size isoform has not yet been confirmed in mouse. In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing full-length human MKRN1 (myc and DYKDDDDK tagged), a band of approx. 60 kDa band was observed. No bands were observed in mock-transfected HEK293 and the same band was observed using anti-DYKDDDDK tag antibody. |
