NTPases, such as CD39, mediate catabolism of extracellular nucleotides. ENTPD6 contains 4 apyrase-conserved regions which is characteristic of NTPases. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Recombinant human ENTPD6 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli. |
