| Description | Monoclonal mouse anti-human C-peptide. Specificity: No cross-reactivity with human, bovine, porcine and mouse/rat insulin.Affinity (Kd) > 1 x 108 M for all MAbs.All MAbs bind with equal efficiency to the human free C-peptide and C-peptide region in proinsulin molecules. Antigenic determinants identified by MAbs are in the three-dimensional structure generated by N- and C- terminal regions of C-peptide separated by beta-turn at position 47-50 of proinsulin. |
