| Description | GOAT ANTI HUMAN CD156b (C-TERMINAL). This item detects an epitope within the C-terminus of isoform 1 of CD156b, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein which belongs to the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease domain) family. CD156b is 125kD, and functions as a tumour necrosis factor-alpha converting enzyme (TACE). CD156b also causes a number of inflammatory modulators to undergo ectodomain shedding, including TNFR75, IL-1RII, TNFR55, L-selectin, and the amyloid precursor protein among others. CD |
