The affinity constant (Ka) is determined by a Scatchard plot using this RIA system. Ka = minimum 1.0 x 109 L/mole.An minimum antibody concentration of 5 g/ml neutralizes 50% of the biological activity of 1 unit of bFGF using the mouse fibroblast cell line 3T3.Not tested in other applications.Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
