WB: Preliminary experiments showed a 100 kDa band but also bands at approx. 35 kDa band and 26-28 kDa band in human ovary, placenta, prostate and testis lysates after 0.1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the additional bands we observe given the calculated size of 98.6 kDa band according to NP_004755.2. All detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands). IHC-P: Human testis shows textured cytoplasm staining in all germ cells. |
