In Western blot a band can be seen at 8.5 kDa. This antibody is excellent for the detection of ubiquitinated inclusions seen in human neurodegenerative diseases such as the neurofibrillary tangles of Alzheimer's disease. The observed molecular weight of the protein may vary from the listed predicted molecular weight due to post translational modifications, post translation cleavages, relative charges, and other experimental factors. |
