| Applications | Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Peptide ELISA. WB: Approx. 37 kDa band observed in human placenta lysates (calculated MW of 38.7 kDa band according to NP_085146.2). Two additional bands of unknown identity were also consistently observed at 50 kDa band and at 70 kDa. The band at 50 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. The other band at 70 kDa band however was not blocked by the immunizing peptide and it is therefore a non-specific signal. We call for caution when the antibody is used for other assays than WB. |
