The K22Q mutation results in an amino acid substitution at position 22 in CDK4, from a lysine (K) to a glutamine (Q). This cell line is wild type for BRAF, and c-KIT genes. WM1791C cells produce xenograft tumors when injected into immunocompromised mice. |
