Description | Non-viable cell pellet was generated from cell line WM983BBR. WM983BBR is a human metastatic melanoma cell line that displays a mesenchymal morphology. The WM983BBR cell line contains the BRAF V600E mutation that causes increased signaling via the extracellular signal-regulated MAPK/ERK kinase pathways to enhance proliferation. WM983BBR is wild type for PTEN, N-ras, c-KIT, and CDK4. This cell line was derived from the same pateint as the cell lines WM983A, WM983B, and WM983C. The WM983BBR cells produce xenograft tumors when injected into immunocompromised mice. |
