| Description | Mouse Anti-XBP1 Recombinant Antibody (143F). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody against Human XBP1. The antibody, clone 143F, can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as WB, IHC. XBP1 is a transcription factor that regulates MHC class II genes by binding to a promoter element referred to as an X box. XBP1 functions as a cellular transcription factor that binds to an enhancer in the promoter of the T cell leukemia virus type 1 promoter. XBP1 is required for cardiac myogenesis and hepatogenesis during embryonic development, and the development of secretory tissues such as exocrine pancreas and salivary gland.
