Mainly used for diagnosis and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction and so on.Using the small molecule capture technology, S - Adenosyl - L - Homocysteine Hydrolase (SAHH) convert s the oxidation of homocysteine to free type. The free type homocysteine cyclic amplify t hrough react with the covalent substrate and generate adenosine at the same tim e. Adenosine is hydrolyzed to ammonia and hypoxanthine. Under the action of glutamate de hydrogenase ( GL DH) , ammonia take part in the conversion of NADH to NAD +. The decrease level of NADH absorbance at 340nm wavelength is proportional to the Hcy concentration.
