Description
10-Deacetybaccatin III is a diterpene found in Taxus that exhibits analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-parasitic activities. In vivo, this compound decreases edema as well as pain scores in the acid-induced writing test. 10-Deacetylbaccatin III also induces G2/M phase cell cycle arrest and inhibits growth in Leishmania.
