Description
AM1241 is a selective cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2) agonist. It demonstrates activity in multiple pain murine models. AM1241 was used to treat osteopathic carcinoma pain in mice. AM1241 decreased allodynia found in a rodent model, and also decreased thermal hyperalgesia. AM1241 was used in a murine Parkinson’s disease model, where it increased expression of Parkin and PINK1, and also stimulated neurogenesis.
