Use Thermo Scientific™ Richard-Allan Scientific™ Reusable Steel Knives with microtomes or cryostats when the technical application dictates that requirement.

• Permanent knives can be resharpened on an appropriate knife sharpener for extended use
• Appropriate knife case(s) should be ordered with the knife or knives, each case holds two knives

Multiple Styles Available:

• C-profile knives are used for standard paraffin and cryo techniques
• D-profile knives are used for sectioning of harder materials that require greater knife stability
• Tungsten carbide knives are used for strength and durability in sectioning of very hard samples or embedded resin
