• Choose brass, stainless steel or nonmetallic vent
• For petroleum-based liquids, use non-metallic or brass vents
• For chlorinated solvents, use nonmetallic vent with stainless-steel flame arrester
• For corrosives and general solvents, use stainless steel vents

Vertical Drum Vent:

• Has operating valve that opens automatically to prevent pressure buildup inside drum

Horizontal Drum Vent

• Has operating valve that can be opened manually to relieve internal pressure
