UMOXS™ Wire Termination Tool TMOXS16ACorning has developed a series of UMOXS™ accessories designed to facilitate installation, wiring or other customization of any UMOXS cross-connect system component. UMOXS is a family of interfaces for interconnecting feeder and distribution cables in the urban and rural outside plant copper-based network. The TMOXS16A is a spring-activated seating and cutting tool for terminating 22-, 24- and 26-guage (0.63, 0.5 and 0.4 mm) plastic insulated conductors on a UMOXS cross-connect system connector. A turn button on the handle adjusts the tool for seating only, or for seating and cutting the conductors.
