CD44, HCAM (Ly-24 H-CAM, Pgp-1). Recognizes all isoforms of the Pgp 1 cell surface glycoprotein. Present on B cells, monocytes, macrophagesand certain subsets of thymocytes and peripheral T cells. Mice with the Ly 24.1 allotype have high densitiesof CD44+ T cells, while Ly 24.2 strains are low expressors. The antibody cross reacts with human or canine. |
