Immunogen Rat peritoneal macrophages
Target Rat CD11b. Recognizes most macrophages including resident peritoneal and activated macrophages, kupffer cells, butonly about 35% of alvoelar macrophages. The antibody also labels dendritic cells extensively, granulocytesand cells with the morphology of microglia in brain. The antibody precipitates three polypeptides of 150,103 and 95kDa. The antibody inhibits complement mediated rosettes and is probably the rat equivalent ofthe human receptor for IC3b called CR3.
