RIP140. This antibody recognises nuclear receptor-interacting protein 1 (NRIP1), which is also known as RIP140. RIP140 is a ligand-dependent co-repressor for most nuclear receptors and functions through interaction with their AF2 activation domains. RIP140 modulates transcriptional activation by steroid receptors and transcriptional repression by nuclear hormone receptors. The antibody 6D7 recognises an epitope within amino acid residues 301-478. |
