| Target | IgG. Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the product reacts with the heavy chains on sheep IgG and with lightchains common to most sheep immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non immunoglobulinserum proteins, but antibodies may cross react with immunoglobulins from other species. |

| Storage | Store lyophilized product at 2-8°C. After reconstitution, product is stable for several weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution only prior to immediate use. For extended storage after reconstitution, we suggest the addition of an equal volume of glycerol to make a final glycerol concentration of 50% followed by storage at-20°C, with or without aliquoting. Please note that the concentration of protein and buffer salts will decrease to one-half of the original after the addition of glycerol. Expiration date: one year from date of reconstitution. |

| Application Notes | A dilution range of 1:500-1:5,000 is suggested for immunohistochemistry on tissue section, 1:5,000 -1:100,000 for ELISA and Western blotting with chromogenic substrates and 1:10,000-1:200,000 forWestern blotting with ECL substrates.Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use inits particular application.Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should notnecessarily be excluded.Bovine serum albumin BSA and dry milk may contain IgG.Secondary antibodiesdirected against bovine, goat, horse, or sheep react with bovine IgG.Therefore, useof BSA or milk to block or dilute these antibodies may significantly increasebackground and/or reduce antibody titer.For blocking, normal serum 5% v/vfrom the host species of the labeled secondary antibody is recommended.Centrifuge before opening to ensure complete recovery of vial contents. |
