| Activity | 1. Cordycepin has anti-metastatic effect on tumor progression. 2. Cordycepin or/and CME have inhibitory effects on osteoclast differentiation in vitro and that they suppress inflammatory bone loss in vivo. 3. Cordycepin from C militaris that elicited hypoglycemic activity contributes to the regulation of glucose metabolism in liver in alloxan-induced diabetic mice. 4. Cordycepin attenuates RIF in vivo and in vitro, probably by inducing the phosphorylation of eIF2 alpha , suppressing the expression of p-Smad2/3, a key signaling molecule in TGF-beta/Smad signaling pathway, and reducing the expressions of collagens and alpha -SMA in the kidney. |
