Hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1b, also known as HCV1b, is a fusion protein of a.a. 21-32 of NS4A, linker (3 a.a.) and a.a. 31-181 of NS3 (GenBank Accession No. AF054247) with N-terminal FLAG-His-tag, MW = 22.3 kDa, expressed in an E. coli expression system.

Assay was performed using 100 µl HCV assay buffer containing 50 mM Tris, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 5 mM DTT, 10% glycerol, and 5 µM fluorescently labeled HCV substrate peptide. Reaction was continuously monitored at room temperature for 20 min. at ex350/em500.

50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 500 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol, 0.2% Triton X-100, and 10 mM BME.
