Description: Sildenafil citrate, also known as Revatio, acts by inhibiting cGMP specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). The molecular structure of sildenafil is similar to that of cGMP and acts as a competitive binding agent of PDE5.

Purity: ≥99% by HPLC Biological Activity: Sildenafil was developed in 1998 as the first selective PDE-5 inhibitor with IC50 of 3.5 nM.
Solubility: Soluble in water at 3.5 mg/ml. Soluble in DMSO to 100 mM

Storage / Stability: Store at or below –20°C. Solid form is stable at least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Do not store aqueous solutions for more than one day.
