Background: TRKA is a member of the neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor (NTKR) family which is a membrane-bound receptor that, upon neurotrophin binding, phosphorylates itself and members of the MAPK pathway. TRKA has a crucial role in the development and function of the nociceptive reception system as well as establishment of thermoregulation via sweating in humans. The oncogenic rearrangement of 5′TPM3-3′NTRK1 fusion gene has been found in papillary thyroid carcinomas.
Description: Human TPM3-TRKA fusion protein, TPM3 GenBank Accession No. NM_152263, a.a. 1-258, TRKA Genbank Accession No. NM_002529, a.a. 399-end, expressed in an E. coli expression system. TMP3-TRKA MW = 105 kDa.
Synonym(s): TRKA, TPM3, TPM3 TRKA mutant, NTKR
Formulation: 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol.
Storage / Stability: Store product at –80°C. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
