Enzyme reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 50 mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 10 mM MgCl₂, 1 mM EGTA, 200 μM ATP, 0.01% Brij-35 and 2 μM substrate (Invitrogen Zlyte Peptide 1) at room temperature for 1 hour.

50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 0.1 mM EGTA, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.1 mM PMSF, 50% glycerol and 3.25 mM DTT.
