Reaction was performed in a kinase buffer (40 mM Tris, 10 mM MgCl₂) containing 5 µg inactive MEK1 (BPS #40075), 1 µM ATP, and 4 – 8 ng/µl aRAF for 30 minutes at 30°C. The amount of ATP transferred was measured using a Kinase-Glo^® Plus Assay Kit (Promega Corporation, Madison, WI).

40 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 110 mM NaCl, 2.2 mM KCl, 0.04% Tween-20, 20% glycerol and 3 mM DTT.

Aqueous buffer solution

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
