This liquid Growth Medium is a complete medium optimized to culture select BPS Bioscience cell lines.

All components are low endotoxin

BPS Growth Media is formulated through BPS Thaw Media combined with antibiotics for maintenance of selective markers in the stable cell line.

• Growth Medium 1D (BPS #79536): Thaw Medium 1 (BPS #60187) plus 600 µg/ml of Geneticin (Thermo Fisher, #11811031), 5 µg/ml of Blasticidin (ThermoFisher, #R21001).
• Thaw Medium 1 (BPS #60187): MEM medium (Hyclone #SH30024.01) supplemented with 10% FBS (Invitrogen #26140-079), 1% non-essential amino acids (Hyclone #SH30238.01), 1 mM Na pyruvate (Hyclone #SH30239.01), 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin (Hyclone SV30010.01)

Each lot is tested for growth of recombinant cells. FBS is ISIA-certified and sourced from the United States of America.

Upon receipt, the medium should be stored in the dark at 4°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Do not exceed 37°C. When stored in the dark at 4°C, the product is stable for six months after first thaw.
